Driving through a forest in Luxembourg, I had a puncture as I was driving around a tight curve in the road. The tyre came of the wheel and the car rolled, several times. As you can see from from the photograph, the car must have in the air when it hit the tree.
I was probably driving too fast, but managed to escape without a scratch. The only way out of the car was through the rear passenger window.
I remember sitting on the side of the car with my feet dangling down as I caught my breath. One of the wheels was still spinning.
Unsurprisingly, the car was a write off. I was very fortunate to have escaped unharmed and very lucky that I did not have a passenger in the car with me.
